Chrysanthemum Festival

There's always this magical feel every time I come to Longwood Gardens. The colorful flowers and trees showed in the best way of form. The last time I came here was in Summer last year which was way too hot. This time, although a bit chilly than my liking, the cold breeze is rather refreshing. It is also the best time to take my 50mm lens out to play.

  






   

MUTED PASTELS

     

I picked a set of 4 mini Essies's last week with my $5 off Ulta coupon in the mail. What better way to use this coupon if not on nail polishes. 2 things why these Essies are so great. I love the muted color overall and the mini bottle size is practical since I never really used up any bottle of nail polish to begin with (see pic for the comparison to the regular size bottle). These 4 will definitely stick around for couple months until I'm ready for some sparkly colors for the holidays.

Few Highlights

Oldies are always goodies... I came back to my old bread pudding and chicken soup recipes here and here.
They are just so comforting and very hard to resist esp. in the cold weather. My new iPhone 4S came last week and believe me this thing is super FAST! Download tons of free apps and I'm totally back into my Smurf Village :D
