This new Love, Chloe perfume is soooo sweet and nice.. the smell lingers all day.. :)The bottle looks very elegant with the thin chain accent connecting the bottle and the cap..My staple fragrance for the warm spring and summer..

Modern Touch

I got invited to a grand opening of a friend's restaurant recently in the Wilmington area called Asnan Sushi Bar & Asian Cuisine. Despite the nasty weather we came to check out the new place to support the Indonesian comm. As you can see it has a great modern feel to the interior decor. The restaurant had some major sushi menu and a list of Indonesian dishes. The owner is Indonesian so when we get into the restaurant we pretty much passed on the sushi menu and get down to business - Indonesian food. But when we had the menu there were only very few Indonesian dishes in the menu which was surprising, so we ordered 3 things from the menu - Grilled Chicken, Spicy Chicken  for entrées and Chicken Satay for appetizer. After the appetizer came we came to realize that they just updated/wrote the white board with "Today's Special" with more Indonesian dishes.. DOH! It'll be nice to know that the Indonesian dishes aren't listed in the main menu! But anyways, the entrées came and it was okay. I like the appetizer better though. All in all, it was an okay experience, I'm not too crazy about the food but the ambient and the decor is an A+

Hearty Italian Breeze

Two weeks ago, there was a day where it felt like the Summer. Where everyone was out with their shorts and flip flops, convertible cars had their roof out, and where the ice cream parlor just made a killing. That day, we took advantage to dine outside.. literally outside.. to enjoy the cool breeze with some good hearty Italian!

Hydrationist

After this post not long ago, few of my friends had given me some feedbacks on what they use for their skin. Thanks to Iis from redwhitebride, I picked up this moisturizer at the newly opened Nordstrom last week.

At the same time they had a gift set that came with a $29.50 purchase which I totally qualified! Here's what I got from the goody bag.




I got a travel size perfume, lipstick, mascara, advance night repair serum and eye cream.. I think I did pretty good. But all in all I'm extremely happy with the moisturizer  and love how it feels on my skin..  totally hydrating.. no more flaky skin. This is def. a WIN!

Pretty Good Friday

Today is a good day... weather is mild and the sun ray is nice with a hint of cold breeze.. pretty good to start the weekend don't u think?

Wine Tasting Weekend

Few weekends ago, there was a wine tasting weekend in Newark downtown and most of the restaurant in Main Street had their own wine tasting function. A friend and I went to this newly opened Wine House tasting their wine and several appetizers.

Finally! Newark has listened to my prayers. It's about time for them to have our own Frozen Yogurt joint in town! This self-serve Fro-yo place offers a vast variety of yogurt flavors with lots of different toppings! They cost 45 cents/oz. So the price depends on how much you put in your cup - which I thought was such a great idea. Coz there are times when I want to have a good cup of yog and other times just few bites. So  I'm really liking this self-serve idea! I can't find their website yet but they're located in Main St, Newark.
