Pizza My Way

When there's no ready food in the kitchen, I gotta get creative and come up with something quick and easy. Otherwise, there goes chinese take out! Just kidding!

So today I made this sort of quick whole grain pizza with my favorite toppings.

What you need

  • 1 piece of flat whole grain pita bread
  • 3 tsp of ready made alfredo sauce / anykind of white sauce
  • 1/2 fresh green pepper
  • 1 gluten free caprese chicken sausage / any seasoned type sausage
  • handful of feta cheese
  • pinch of salt and ground pepper

What you do

  • First, you want to start your oven at 350F to heat up
  • Cut the green pepper and sausage to small pieces
  • Lay the pita bread on top of a baking pan and spread the alfredo sauce on the surface
  • Add green pepper and sausage and top it off with the feta cheese
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Place the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes until bread is nice and crusty

Enjoy!

Scarf Face

Lately, I created this new obsession with scarves and has been watching different video tutorials of different ways to use a scarf on different occasions! I posted this a while ago, and these new ones will be great additions to the pack. Enjoy!

Oven-Fry Chicken with Pasta & Alfredo Sauce
It was declared in the news that today is the hottest day this year. Triple digits with severely high humidity. It's horrible. My AC in the car is working extremely hard, it made weird noises as if it's about to die. At this kind of temperature, I would rather be home with the AC on. What would you do?

Shake Shack

Shake Shack - One of the most delicious burger joint around. We went to one of their local place in Madison Square Garden on Sunday afternoon. The line was long but it was worth it. We had their signature burgers, cheese fries, vanilla shake and some butter scotch concrete. What a lunch!

We felt overdressed. People are sunbathing in their bikinis in the park in the middle of the city. LOL

Tribute to McQueen

If you are around the area or within driving distance to New York City, you should definitely go and see the Alexander McQueen Exhibition: Savage Beauty that is now showing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art until August 7th.

more videos here.

We waited for 2 long hours to get in to the exhibition but it was all worth it. He's simply amazing and talented.

Smorgasburg Food Market

Hey you! What a hot hot weekend we had.. at the 90s, those concretes in the city are brutally hot. Damn NYC. I swear this is a fall and spring city.. def not a summer city. We were hanging out in the city the past weekend and we went to check out Smorgasburg Food Market in Brooklyn which is held every Saturday since the beginning of the summer. They have many different food stalls and vendors from tacos to doughnuts.. lobster rolls and frozen banana covered chocolate.. they have it there. It was a fun day although the heat was unbearable.

Vacation Haul

Thought I didn't think I had spent as much as I would want, I think I did a pretty good job picking these babies up. Some are gifts and some are spent from my own pocket.

These jewelry collections was compiled when I was in Indonesia - they have so many cute stuff and they're very affordable. I love the bold necklaces. They're such a statement to be worn over a simple top.
