So today I made this sort of quick whole grain pizza with my favorite toppings.
What you need
- 1 piece of flat whole grain pita bread
- 3 tsp of ready made alfredo sauce / anykind of white sauce
- 1/2 fresh green pepper
- 1 gluten free caprese chicken sausage / any seasoned type sausage
- handful of feta cheese
- pinch of salt and ground pepper
What you do
- First, you want to start your oven at 350F to heat up
- Cut the green pepper and sausage to small pieces
- Lay the pita bread on top of a baking pan and spread the alfredo sauce on the surface
- Add green pepper and sausage and top it off with the feta cheese
- Add salt and pepper
- Place the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes until bread is nice and crusty
