Lately, many apparel companies come up with a more helpful marketing campaign strategy to the consumer through styling tips within their clothing line. I personally think it's genius. Not only it introduced the consumer (read: me) to see the new collection line, but it also helps with ideas on how to style it with other pieces which I find it quite appealing. I love Banana Republic because they always stay with the classic and polished look with a balance line of dark and bright colors. It's very suitable for a normal go-to-work business casual chic M-F.

During my visit to NY this past weekend I got to spend sometime with my cousin who is now almost 4-mo preggo. Obviously, her appetite and sense of smell is out of whack. But we made it through the 1 hour traffic to Brighton Beach for some Russian food at Caravan Grill. Definitely worth the trip.
Summer is officially over guys. Last night, I was so close to turn on the heat, but got into this denial mode and put on some socks instead. HA! Fall is here which only means it's safe to take out all my jacket - sweater collections! Yaay.. suedes are out, dark trousers are out, and all the greys are out.
If you're not ready to pack up your summer clothes, this is the perfect time to wear them as layers. Yes, Fall is all about layers ladies. Stack them up, cuff the sleeves up a bit and put that skinny belt over it. Here's some video that I found very helpful for ideas!
I'm heading to New York this evening for the weekend - spending the first taste of Fall among the concrete jungle. Hope you all have a great weekend. :)
"3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.....
= a trip of a lifetime."
Mine was very low key and somewhat relaxing with lots of yoga, a little shopping and catching up with few house chores that I left out for my Orlando trip last weekend. Overall, it was a good "me time" weekend.
Not to forget, Sunday was 9/11. I can't believe it has been 10 years since the tragedy. I watched the full coverage on CNN on the WTC Memorial in Ground Zero all morning which was very touching. I'm thinking to go to there on my next trip to the city.
Also, I'm taking this moment to post some of my pictures to Orlando. I had such a great time and I think I finally fulfilled my childhood dream - meeting all the princesses (Please don't judge).
We also went to the Universal parks to go to the new Harry Potter park within. It was so cool. It looks exactly like the movie!
